Yogami feels good
This gentle and deeply relaxing massage method is based on the spiritual principles of yoga, and a deeply felt connection to the body as sacred living presence. Yogami is easily learned with no special equipment, and participants wear typical yoga clothing, or light cotton clothing.
With yogami bodywork, the body responds in small, and sometimes in profoundly healing ways. Yogami practitioners learn multi-facited listening skills, how to work with intention, the art of providing safe, and a varitey of massage, and bodywork techniques.
This is also a unique opportunity to learn about receiving bodywork. Learn how to give effective feedback, to relax and let go. Learn how to notice what is present in the body as a pathway to feeling deeper sensation.
Yogami is taught in a workshop format and as a weekly 1.5 hour session course. You can learn at your own pace, and sign up for the same course numerous times, similar to a yoga class, you can come simply to practice Yogami, and the more you practice, the more benefits you receive.
In each class there is some discussion and demonstration, but the majority of class time is devoted to yogami bodywork practice.
Classes offer a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment where you can enjoy learning how to receive and give Yogami bodywork.
